FXX airing The Simpsons music-themed marathon

It’s not up to its epic, 12-day marathon of the entire series that aired a few weeks back, but FXX’s latest stunt related to The Simpsons prizes quality over quantity, when it comes to episodes. A four-hour, eight-episode marathon devoted to standout music-themed episodes of the classic series will air Sept. 11 from 8pm-12am ET/PT on FXX. This marathon is airing in conjunction with the world premiere of the concert “The Simpsons Take the Bowl” that runs at the famed Hollywood Bowl Sept. 12-14.
