Well, wouldn’t you know it, but those crazy TV networks went and changed a few dates for their programming premieres for this upcoming fall season — and right after we went to print with our special Fall Preview edition of Channel Guide magazine. Ah, the perils of the TV magazine biz …
But they haven’t totally thwarted us. We’re here with their late-breaking updates to make sure that you have all of the pertinent information ammunition that you need to make this upcoming fall season your best viewing one yet:
* Nip/Tuck — The fifth season premiere of the hit FX series will now be Oct. 30 at 10pm ET/PT. Don’t worry, though — the show will still be sexy.
* Truth About Food — You’re going to have to wait another week to find out the truth in this Discovery Health series. The premiere has been bumped back to Sept. 17 at 8pm ET/PT, with the show still airing Mondays.
* MOJO has airdates for its new and returning series: Season 2 of After Hours With Daniel begins Oct. 14 at 9pm ET/PT and airs Sundays; Pressure Cook premieres Oct. 14 at 9:30pm ET/PT and airs Sundays; Dr. Danger (Season 2) airs Wednesdays at 10pm ET/PT starting Oct. 17; London Live is back for its third season starting Oct. 26 at 9pm ET/PT, and airing Fridays; and two new series debut on Oct. 29 and air Mondays: Technology Jones (9pm ET/PT) and Test Drive (9:30pm ET/PT).
* At presstime in our September issue we had listed HBO’s Five Days as merely Fall. There is now a solid premiere date: Oct. 2, airing Sundays at 8pm ET/PT. Read more about it in the October issue of Channel Guide.
* Disney Channel has announced the airdate for its movie Twitches Too as Oct. 12 at 8pm ET/PT
* 2 Dudes Catering on Food Network is now slotted on Oct. 16 at 10:30pm ET/PT, and airs Tuesdays
* The HBO documentary To Die in Jerusalem, originally slated for Oct. 18, has been pushed back to November.
