The lucky 40-year-old woman who gets her pick from a pool of 20 eligible younger men has finally been named. Stacey Anderson, a Scottsdale, Ariz., realtor, will be The Cougar when the elimination dating show debuts Wednesday, April 15, on TV Land. The eight-episode series is hosted by Vivica A. Fox.
Anderson says she believes there is a double standard when it comes to women dating younger men, and she’s out to prove that age is only a number. She is attracted to younger men for their zest for life.
“Stacey Anderson’s vivacious personality, stunning looks and incredible heart make her the perfect choice as our ‘Cougar,’” states Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land. “She is sure to break all the stereotypes people hold about ‘cougars.’”
