Seth Green And “Robot Chicken” Are Rollin’

By Jeff Pfeifferrobot-chicken

For some reason, Adult Swim and Robot Chicken co-creator Seth Green have decided to celebrate the release of Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II on DVD with a nine-city roller-skating tour. Seems natural.

Green and co-creator Matt Senreich are strapping on the skates and living aboard a tour bus for two weeks to bring “Robot Chicken-style fun to the masses.” The duo will host the festivities as they travel to roller rinks across the country. In addition to the skating, there are performances by Gym Class Heroes, appearances from Robot Chicken writers, producers and celebrity guest stars, Robot Chicken-themed activities and games, and Adult Swim merchandise.

“Our show is so much fun,” says Green, “we want to invite everyone to have fun with us. Grab your friends, your ‘couples skate’ partner and some kneepads. We’re coming to your town! Or at least a major market somewhere near your town.”

“When Seth first pitched the idea of throwing roller-skating parties around the country,” adds Senreich, “I rolled my eyes and laughed at him. Now that we’re actually going to do it, I’m in awe of its absurdity and can’t wait to attend. It fits with the randomness of our show. Why not throw roller-skating parties across the U.S.?”

Hey, Seth, my town’s not on the tour list, nor are any of the nearest major markets! Oh, well, maybe the rest of you will have better luck:
