For the remaining 3.7 of you who still believe that 85 year-old Hugh Hefner and 25-year-old Crystal Harris’ love was real, and that something terribly heartrending must have taken place in order for the bride to put the kibosh on their June 18 wedding mere days before — we understand.
Clearly, they’re both devastated. As evidenced by Harris partying for pay with Heidi Montag pool side in Vegas on the day of the doomed nuptials. And Hef promptly picking a new blonde lady, named Anna Sophia, from the blonde-lady aisle at the grocery store or whatever, saying he should have married Holly Madison after all … and now revamping the planned Lifetime Television special Marrying Hef into a salute to his runaway bride (Not Marrying Hef?) that will air sometime in July.
Yep. Paralyzed with grief.
Though Lifetime has yet to confirm the resurrection of the two-hour event, Hef has been busily Tweeting the details:
“The marriage special planned for Lifetime TV is now going to have a ‘runaway bride’ theme & will air in July,” Hefner typed Tuesday.
And though he’s said nothing about Harris and/or the details of the million-dollar weddin’ that wasn’t still being part of the project, Hef hints at a few familiar faces that might show up on camera.
“Holly & Kendra were here today lending their emotional support as we shot for the Lifetime TV special,” he tweeted, referencing former girlfriends — and former costars of the E! reality fluff-fest The Girls Next Door — Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson.
Let the no-bride-al party begin.
