2012 Wimbledon tennis tournament TV schedule

The third and most prestigious Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year returns to the All England Club for the Wimbledon Championships June 25-July 8. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic defends his title against French Open winner Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. On the women’s side, No. 1 Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka, Agnieszka Radwanska and Samantha Stosur are the top challengers to 2011 champ Petra Kvitova.

If you’re looking for Wimbledon on NBC, look no further. ESPN now owns all live U.S. TV rights to Wimbledon, including the singles finals, with tournament coverage on ESPN2 and ESPN through July 8. The ESPN networks will have 140 hours of live tournament coverage beginning Monday, June 25, at 6:30am ET on ESPN2 (see below for full TV schedule). John McEnroe joins the broadcast team, joining returning ESPN broadcasters Darren Cahill, Cliff Drysdale, Mary Joe Fernandez, Brad Gilbert, Patrick McEnroe, Pam Shriver, Chris Fowler, Hannah Storm and Mike Tirico. The Breakfast at Wimbledon prematch show also returns (see schedule below).

Tennis Channel returns with a revamped and extended Wimbledon Primetime. Mary Carillo joins the show, along with Bill Macatee, Martina Navratilova, Lindsay Davenport, Justin Gimelstob and Bud Collins. This year Wimbledon Primetime will run for 14 continuous hours each day. The initial editions will air from 5-9pm ET and 9pm-1am ET with several repeats following.
