The Mindy Project Season Finale Preview: “Danny and Mindy”

Mindy thinks she’s met the man of her dreams after he writes a description of their encounter in a New York newspaper, leading to a surprising reveal in the all-new “Danny and Mindy” Season Finale episode of The Mindy Project airing Tonight, May 6 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.  Check out the hilar scene below.

Much to my shame, I have been guilty of being an irregular viewer of The Mindy Project, and this weekend, my good friend lambasted me for being an irregular Mindy-watcher. I was pretty sure the threat of disowning our friendship was mentioned at least once due to my disloyalty to The Mindy Project, and I vowed to be a better woman by watching The Mindy Project. Tonight’s season finale (FOX let me catch it early, thanks FOX!) reminds me why this is one of the funniest shows on TV and I am a moron for not making a regular date with Mindy. Mindy Kaling is so talented, her writing is so smart and Mindy as a person and a character seems so approachable and likeable (And just kooky enough) that should we ever meet, I’m pretty sure we would become best friends. I’m not alone in that sentiment, and it’s a crime that I don’t support my future-BFF Mindy by watching her show as obsessively as I should.

So c’mon people, make a date with Mindy, (or at least set your DVR) and meet your new TV best friend. Unlike your real bestie, Mindy won’t ask you to come to a jewelry party, drive her to the airport, or babysit her stubborn cat. But she is counting on us to hang out for 30 minutes. And we can do that, right?
