CBS pays tribute to announcer Verne Lundquist with a one-hour documentary special In Your Life, airing Saturday, Nov. 29, at 1:30pm ET.
This documentary special celebrates Verne Lundquist’s 50 years in broadcasting. Since joining CBS Sports in 1982, Lundquist has called some of the most memorable moments in sports, including Jack Nicklaus’ famous birdie putt at the 1986 Masters, Christian Laettner’s buzzer-beater in the 1992 NCAA Tournament and Auburn’s stunning defeat of Alabama in last year’s college football Iron Bowl.
