First they said RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 was to premiere in January. Fine. As January started to move closer to February, fans started to freak out. The speculation as to WHEN would season 7 premiere reached a fever pitch.
Well the fever has broken.
It’s now official – RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 premieres Monday, March 2. Have a look at the official trailer:
What does this trailer teach us?
- Looks like some of the guest judges are Isaac Mizrahi, Ariana Grande, Kathy Griffith and a few people I couldn’t clock. Comment below if you recognize them.
- Has the judging panel officially changed to eliminate Santino Rice & add Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews? That certainly seems to be the case based on the imagery.
- One of the queens cinches to stupid, dangerous levels.

- Confirmed guest judges include Ariana Grande, Jessica Alba, Demi Lovato, John Waters, Kat Dennings, Kathy Griffin, Olivia Newtown-John, Alyssa Milano, Jordin Sparks, Mel B, Tamar Braxton, Rebecca Romijn, Santino Rice, Isaac Mizrahi, Michael Urie, Rachael Harris, Lucian Piane and Merle Ginsberg.
- Yep, no more Santino – Carson & Ross are on the permanent panel.
