Ross reveals that he’s a man of many interests — saying, “I’m really into music — I play the piano and guitar. I learned how to play guitar a few years ago, so I’ve been getting really into that. I’ve also been getting into reading novels lately, I just started reading fiction by Stephen King and Neal Gaiman and it’s opening up my acting. I’m also a big video gamer, I love video games.” Then the actor answered our 7 Questions.
1. If your TV had only three shows or networks, what would you watch?
I’ll say Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Bob’s Burgers.
2. If you were at a magazine stand and could choose any three titles, what would you choose?
Hmmm. I’m not a big magazine guy, but GQ is really good; I need to stay up-to-date on men’s fashion, I guess. Whenever I’m at the grocery store, The National Inquirer is pretty hilarious. And usually a few months down the line, some of the stories turn out to be true, so it’s interesting. And I’d read any science magazine that deals with space. I love reading about space stuff. Like in Scientific American.
3. What are thee foods that you have to have in your fridge or pantry at all times?
Being a foodie, I’m always trying something new, but the constants I have in my fridge are really boring. I always have half and half for my coffee. I can’t even say water in my fridge because I don’t like cold water. Creamer for my Coffee, Butter and Cheese; I always have those three things. Lots of Dairy.
4. What is a movie you can watch over and over?
I have three movies that I watch over and over. Forrest Gump, Gladiator and The Shawshank Redemption.
5. What has been your “OMG!” starstruck moment?
I haven’t had a moment like that yet, but I know if I were to meet Tom Hanks or Robert Downey Jr., I would be pretty much paralyzed from the neck down.
6. Complete this sentence. If I wasn’t an actor, I’d be …
… an astrophysicist. I majored in Chemical Engineering at Ohio State, and if I had the mental capacity, I’d be an astrophysicist, because space fascinates me. That is something I’d want to be, but I don’t think I’ve got the smarts for that.
7. Last one, complete this one too. People may not know this, but my hidden talent is …
… kind of break dancing. I think that every teenage boy has a fantasy of being a breakdancer, so I went on Youtube and taught myself how to breakdance — poorly. I have one or two moves that I can do, but that’s about it and I do them not very well. My signature move is the head slide — where I slide across the floor on my head — which has a good wow factor. If I’m in a battle and I whip that out, that’s the only thing I can do. I end it like, “Bam!” I’ve got nothing after that.
