If you loved her last Saturday guest-hosting SNL, or starring in and writing the summer comedy film Trainwreck, or in any of the myriad appearances she has made in recent years to become one of the hottest comedians out there, then you’ll want to tune in to Amy Schumer’s first standup comedy special for HBO this Saturday, Oct. 17.
Called Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo, the one-hour special was taped May 29 before a live audience at New York’s iconic Apollo Theater. Chris Rock directed the special, which features Schumer talking about her life in her own inimitable way.
