This weekend, one of our favorite Desperate Housewives searches for a new kind of domestic bliss in All Yours, part of Hallmark Channel’s Spring Fling of new, weekly romance flicks.
Nicolette Sheridan stars as Cass, a high-powered attorney and single mom to two precocious kids with a panache for scaring away their nannies. When free-spirit Matthew (Dan Payne) is challenged by his father to put down roots, he responds to the challenge by interviewing for the challenging nanny position. At first, Cass refuses to hire a “manny,” but is forced to reconsider when she can’t find anyone else to take the job.
It’s nice to see Sheridan, who was one of TV’s sexiest cougars hasn’t lost her ferocity, and has found a role that allows her to highlight her grace and charm. It’s also a nice reminder that Nicolette is as good at slapstick as she is at playing a sexpot.
