It is a monumental moment in the history of the Time Lord, as BBC America premieres Season 10 of Doctor Who and opens the new spinoff series Class on Saturday, April 15, beginning at 9pm ET/PT.
It’s the final Doctor Who season with Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and Steven Moffat as writer and executive producer, and their last 12 episodes promise to be epic. Capaldi first took to a TARDIS in 2013, and he’ll finish his run in December when the regeneration takes place in the Christmas special.
Following the Doctor Who season premiere is the debut of eight-part series Class, centering on four Coal Hill School classmates who not only have to deal with usual teenager stuff, but also have to prevent tears in the walls of space and time from unleashing the end of existence as we know it. “Coal Hill School has been part of Doctor Who since the very first shoot in 1963, but this new show is anything but history,” says Moffatt, who serves as an executive producer. “Class is dark and sexy and right now.”
