The Jungle Book

This 2016 movie makes its network television premiere tonight. While Walt Disney’s first adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s novel was in animated form, this film is a glorious mix of live action and CG effects that allow viewers to enjoy the story of the orphan boy Mowgli — who is raised in the jungle by wolves, a bear, a black panther and more — with a totally different vision. This is not your father’s version of this classic story.
