Told through time-shifts, this new series is a tense thriller that plays out like Lost meets Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None.
Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue premieres on MGM+ Sunday, March 2, at 9pm ET/PT.
A small plane en route to Houston from Guatemala City has a navigation failure, runs out of fuel and crashes deep in a Mexican jungle. The impact kills the flight attendant and seriously injures the pilot, but the passengers are mostly unscathed. When the rescue they’re expecting doesn’t arrive, the survivors try to ration what little food and water they can gather from the plane’s wreckage.
But the jungle might be the least of their problems. Someone is murdering them one by one in mysterious or violent ways. Paranoia and suspicion take hold, they turn against each other, and their true intentions and scandalous pasts come to light.
Who’s killing them and why? What caused the crash? And why are the nine bodies kept under high security at a remote Mexican military base?
The ensemble cast includes Eric McCormack (Will & Grace), Peter Gadiot (Queen of the South), Lydia Wilson (Flack) and David Ajala (Star Trek: Discovery).
