Deadliest Catch Season 9 premiere nets 3.47 million viewers

Tuesday’s (April 16) premiere of Deadliest Catch Season 9 on Discovery Channel was the No. 1 Tuesday primetime program in cable for Persons and Men 25-54, the network says. According to Discovery, the Deadliest Catch Season 9 premiere beat all cable programs and multiple broadcast series on networks that included ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Discovery was also the No. 1 cable network in Prime among P/M25-54 and P/M18-49 delivery, and increased viewership by +28% vs. last season’s premiere.
