New Mexico’s “Breaking Bad” bill becomes law

Yesterday, April 4, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez signed what has become known as her state’s “Breaking Bad” bill into the Breaking Bad Law. Gov. Martinez had originally vetoed the bill a few weeks ago. It is geared toward returning New Mexico’s film and television industry to international competitiveness. The law is named, of course, for the acclaimed and popular AMC drama series Breaking Bad, which has filmed at Albuquerque Studios and attracted a steady stream of accolades for the city of Albuquerque, as well as interest from tourists worldwide. FX to re-run “The Americans” Episode 9 online after listings error cuts off DVRs

Episode 9 of the FX drama series The Americans, titled “Safe House,” originally aired on the network this past Wednesday, April 3. It aired from 10pm-11:07pm ET/PT. Unfortunately, due to a listings error by FX publicity, the correct listings information was not properly disseminated to TV listings services that provide information to media outlets, cable and satellite providers. As a result of this error, electronic guides that trigger the run times of DVRs incorrectly recorded the total running time of one hour (10pm-11pm ET/PT), therefore cutting off the final seven minutes of the episode.
