History’s The Bible Episode 2 keeps series ratings high

Over 50 million cumulative viewers have now seen at least a portion of History’s series The Bible since it began on March 3 (this includes nine telecasts across History and Lifetime). While The Bible Episode 2, which premiered March 10, didn’t quite hit the epic highs of the series premiere the week before (The Walking Dead was able to overtake it this time), it still did huge for History. This week, the Roman Catholic Church’s 115 cardinal electors will convene to select a new leader, following the retirement of Benedict XVI. The papal conclave formally begins the afternoon of Tuesday, March 12, when the cardinals gather in the Sistine Chapel following a morning mass in St. Peter’s Basilica. There will be one round of voting Tuesday afternoon, followed by two every morning and two every afternoon, until one name earns two-thirds of the vote. NBC announced that it is beginning production on Renovation Nation, a new home makeover competition show hosted by famed interior and product designer Nate Berkus, who will also be a co-executive producer. According to NBC, Renovation Nation features the talents of accomplished designers and home renovators, and will travel across the country one city at a time, with two separate teams tackling two new homes each week. Valerie Harper discusses her terminal cancer diagnosis on “The Doctors”

Iconic actress Valerie Harper, famed for her role as Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spinoff, Rhoda, revealed this week that in January she learned of a terminal brain cancer diagnosis. Doctors discovered that she suffers from leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a rare and incurable form of brain cancer, and have given Harper as little as three months to live.
