Last Friday’s airing of Gold Rush Live on Discovery Channel was the No. 1 series in all of television among Men 25-54/18-49 that night, with over 10 million people watching, according to Nielsen. Nicknamed “Blade Runner” because of his prosthetic legs, Oscar Pistorius made news last year as the first double-leg amputee to participate in the Olympics, but he now is in the news in a far more infamous way, charged in South Africa with murdering his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Robin Roberts returned to Good Morning America this past Wednesday, five months to the day since she underwent a bone marrow transplant to treat myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a rare blood disorder.
