President Obama to appear on “Running Wild with Bear Grylls”

President Barack Obama will trek through the wilderness with survival expert Bear Grylls for a special edition of Grylls’ NBC series Running Wild with Bear Grylls, to air later this year. The episode will be taped while President Obama is in Alaska this week to observe the effects of climate change on the area. Mr. Robot season finale rescheduled in wake of Virginia shootings

Last night, the hit summer series Mr. Robot was supposed to air its first season finale on USA Network. However, the was pulled in light of the horrific shootings in Virginia, where former employee at WDBJ in Roanoke, Vester Lee Flanagan II, murdered reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward while they were live on the air. According to USA, a scene in the Mr. Robot season finale, obviously shot well before yesterday’s events, happened to be similar enough in nature to the shootings that the network understandably thought it would be disrespectful to air it so soon after the tragedy. In about two weeks, Stephen Colbert will debut as the new host of CBS’ Late Night when The Late Show With Stephen Colbert premieres Sept. 8 at 11:35pm ET/PT. Chris Hardwick’s “@ midnight” to temporarily change time slot

From Sept. 8-17, Comedy Central’s hit series @midnight with Chris Hardwick will move an hour earlier to 11pm ET/PT, followed by new episodes of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. @midnight will return to its regular (and self-titled) midnight ET/PT time slot on Sept. 21, following The Nightly Show.
