Tosh.0 gets “family-friendly” tonight

For the first time in its six-season history, Comedy Central’s hit series Tosh.0 will air a “family-friendly” edition. Being a program that showcases the wildest viral videos from the Internet, Tosh.0 regularly includes clips that certainly are not suitable for younger viewers. Tonight, Oct. 7, however, the program promises a show “completely devoid of puking, bodily injuries, strong language with little or no sexual dialogue or situations.” While that may be a buzzkill for some, it will allow the more sensitive and younger viewers to tune in for once (but don’t get used to it). “Comedy isn’t about being clean […]

TV viewers who were around in the early ’90s surely recall David Lynch and Mark Frost’s creepy, cult-favorite series Twin Peaks. (It may be remembered by some more for its definitely eerie ambiance than for its ultimately unsatisfying mystery, but the atmosphere, including the moody musical score by Angelo Badalamenti, often more than made up for plot deficiencies.) “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” moving to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as movie franchise

Hallmark Channel’s original scripted series Signed Sealed Delivered will be moving to sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (formerly Hallmark Movie Channel) as a movie franchise consisting of a series of two-hour original films, it was announced today. The first film, Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas, premieres Nov. 23 at 9pm ET/PT. Hispanic cable network mun2 recently announced that it will be presenting Spanish-language broadcasts of some NFL games, starting Sept. 28 with the Hispanic Heritage Game between the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.
