Dave Chappelle to Headline Three New Standup Specials on Netflix

Following his major return to the public eye in a generally well-received hosting gig on Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago, Dave Chappelle has more planned for fans in the coming year. Netflix announced today that Chappelle will headline three new standup comedy specials released on the streaming service in 2017. One of the specials is an original made exclusively for Netflix, produced by Chappelle and directed by Stan Lathan. Todd Hoffman, one of the miners in Discovery Channel’s No. 1-rated series Gold Rush, had big sights when he took a gamble by coming from the Klondike to the High Bar mine in Oregon. Fittingly enough for his claim’s name, he had set a very high bar for his team, hoping to extract 5,000 ounces of gold.
