When he sat down with me at the Television Critics Association (TCA) 2013 Summer Press Tour to discuss his upcoming NGC film Killing Kennedy, Rob Lowe also touched on some of his other projects, including his return to the hit Showtime comedy Californication. Destination America orders Mountain Monsters Season 2

Destination America announced today that it has renewed its breakout hit series Mountain Monsters for a second season. Production on new, hourlong episodes will begin later this year (no word yet on when they will air), and will again follow the hardcore hunters and trappers of the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS), as they look for and try to capture mysterious creatures reported in Appalachia. This morning, two-time Emmy Award-winning actor (and nominated again this year) Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) joined Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman-CEO Bruce Rosenblum to announce the nominations for the 2013 Emmy Awards. Today, MTV revealed the nominations for the 30th annual MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), which will air live from Barclays Center Aug. 25 at 9pm ET/PT. The ceremony will be taking place in Brooklyn for the first time ever, with every artist who wins a 2013 MTV VMA taking home a limited-edition re-imagining of the iconic MTV Moonman (pictured) designed by Brooklyn-based artist KAWS exclusively for the show. When Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman’s animated comedy series American Dad! premieres its 11th season in late 2014, it will be on a new network.
