Dating Naked: the Lost Episode Recap

Of course, this episode isn’t really lost. This is the show’s pilot, something that was created by the producers to serve as a sales vehicle to VH1. I have seen images of the pilot since this summer when VH1 first contacted me about covering the show (I wrote an article for July’s Channel Guide Magazine, so I interviewed Amy Paffrath in May.) and I’ve been wondering if and when we’re going to meet the woman with the dark, curly hair and wondering if any of the couples clicked. I also have been wondering what changed between the pilot and the […]

7 Questions with Pauley Perrette of NCIS

Pauley Perrette is heading into her 12th season as eccentric scientist Abby Sciuto on CBS’s ratings winner, NCIS. After being a part of the “World’s Most Popular Drama” for a dozen years, I asked her if she’s still excited each year to return to work and Perrette bubbled with exuberance, “We’re just so excited, still so happy, still so grateful and we’re going into Season 12. It’s amazing! We love our fans, and we love each other. It’s one of those things in life, where everything is just super awesome and we’re one, big, goofy family.” Pauley took a few […]

Amazon’s Transparent is a Game Changer

Amazon Studios launches its latest better-than-TV series, the highly anticipated comedy-drama Transparent, on Friday. Transparent is about the Pfefferman family and at the heart of the family is Mort (Jeffrey Tambor), a retiring college professor, who at the age of 70 decides to stop “dressing like a man” and live as he’s always felt he should, as a woman. Now, as Maura, she faces the difficult task of revealing her transition to her children. Star Jeffrey Tambor says, “This show is a game changer,” and I couldn’t agree more. Transparent is much more heartfelt, provocative and cinematic than anything I’ve […]

Fans were first introduced to Pride and his crew in a two-part NCIS case that aired in Spring 2014. How NCIS: New Orleans’ show format will differ from the original remains to be seen, but Bakula, playing an old pal of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, is a welcome and charming sight whose catchphrase […]

Vh1’s Dating Naked Wedding: Recap

I totally cry at weddings. Good weddings, bad weddings, trashy weddings, so I’m pretty sure I’m going to cry during tonight’s  Wedding.  But I guess it’s not really a wedding, because (obviously) Ashley and Alika wanted their families there for the real deal (and to wear clothes) so this is a naked love ceremony.   I never thought it would be Ashley and Alika getting married, but to hear Ashley describe meeting her soul mate, it is incredibly sweet and you realize how obviously perfect they are for each other.
