MLB Network announced its 2016 schedule of live and tape-delayed Spring Training games, featuring every MLB team in at least one live game. The schedule of more than 200 games begins Tuesday, March 1, with the Blue Jays at the Phillies in Grapefruit League action. Hockey Day in America 2016 celebrated Sunday on NBC Sports

Sunday, Feb. 21, is Hockey Day in America, and NBC and NBCSN combine to televise a tripleheader of NHL games. First up, the Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Buffalo Sabres on NBC (12:30pm), followed by the outdoor Stadium Series game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, also on NBC (3:30pm ET). Play-by-play commentator Mike “Doc” Emrick, analyst Eddie Olczyk, and “Inside-the-Glass” analyst Pierre McGuire call the Blackhawks at Wild game. The 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series season starts at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 20, with the Powershares QQQ 300 on FS1. The new playoff elimination system for the Xfinity Series will determine this season’s champion. Twelve drivers will be eligible for the seven-race, three-round Xfinity Series Chase which begins Sept. 24 at Kentucky Speedway. FS1 and FOX air the first half of the Xfinity Series season, with NBCSN and NBC airing the second half. The 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season starts at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Feb. 19, with the NextEra Energy Resources 250 on FS1. The new playoff elimination system for the Truck Series will determine this season’s champion. Eight drivers will be eligible for the seven-race, three-round Truck Series Chase which begins Sept. 24 at New Hampshire. The Truck Series will also have a new “caution clock” in which a yellow flag will fly for a competition caution if 20 minutes of continuous green-flag racing pass. Top contenders include Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., 2015 Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano and reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. On Monday, Feb. 15, at 8pm ET/PT, Disney XD premieres an all-new series of animated shorts called LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises, which includes characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The first episode, “Poe to the Rescue,” takes place before the First Order’s attack on Jakku and includes more stories involving Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Finn, Rey, BB-8, Maz Kanata and more.
