Americans know the USA’s 1980 Winter Olympics hockey “Miracle on Ice” win over the Soviet Union as one of the great Cinderella stories in all of sports. The NHRA appears to be ending its deal with ESPN and heading to FOX Sports 1 in 2016.] The 2015 NHRA drag racing season gets underway with the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Circle K NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Calif., Feb. 7-8. The 2015 Australian Open finals are shaping up to be epic, with Serena Williams vs. Maria Sharapova on the women’s side early Saturday morning and Novak Djokovic vs. Andy Murray in the men’s final early Sunday morning. On paper, Williams holds a big advantage over Sharapova, going 16-2 head-to-head (2-1 in Grand Slam finals) and winning 15 straight against her.
