The premier match-play tournament in golf, the biennial Ryder Cup, is played Sept. 26-28 at Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland. The U.S. Team, captained by Tom Watson, takes on the European Team, led by Paul McGinley. Europe has won the past two Ryder Cups in 2010 and 2012, achieving an improbable comeback on the final day to hold onto the Cup two years ago in Medinah, Ill.
