1. What’s the strangest fan encounter you’ve ever had? Jake Thomas: I can recall one, when I was at Universal Studios with a couple friends. It was years ago, but I still remember it. This little girl runs up to me and screams, “Matt McGuire!” and she actually, like, body slams me! My friends had to, like, pry her off of me. 2. 1. What has been your strangest fan encounter? Walton Goggins: Whenever you pass people, you get that stare — that look, and you know that it’s about to come. [A] guy ran up to me in New York and says, “Speak! Speak!” And I said, “Please, get out of my face!” And he said, “Oh, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry. 1. What has been your strangest fan encounter? Christian Clemenson: There was this one lady — and this was early on — who met me in the produce department at Ralph’s, which is a local supermarket. 1. What has been your strangest fan encounter? Rob Lowe: I’ve been really lucky: My fan encounters, to a person, have been wonderful. The one that pops to mind was my encounter with some fans, plural, when they banded together to create the Save Sam Seaborn Society [named after Lowe’s character on The West Wing]. They paid to take out full-page ads in newspapers to get Warner Bros. 1. What has been your strangest fan encounter? Reid Scott: I was on a trip to Costa Rica a year ago, and we took a white-water rafting expedition in the middle of the jungle. We had to take a series of vans to where you pick up the boat, and in the middle of the jungle, somebody in our van turns around and says, “Hey, is your name Reid Scott?” I’m like, “Oh my God, yeah. But I was on a boat, like a ferry, on the Bosporus in Istanbul, and I was sitting on the boat with my legs kind of dangling out and this guy came over and he spoke broken English.
