“Sharknado” studio The Asylum to produce zombie series “Z Nation” for Syfy

Is there room on television for two series set in a post-zombie apocalypse landscape? Syfy and production company The Asylum (Sharknado) believe so. ABC to rebroadcast big-performing pilot episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

ABC debuted Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last night, and it became TV’s highest-rated new drama in nearly four years, and ABC’s best season-opening Tuesday in three years. If you happened to miss it, ABC will be re-airing the pilot episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD this Thursday, Sept. 26, at 8pm ET. At The CW executive panel this morning, network president Mark Pedowitz addressed the Television Critics Association (TCA) Summer 2013 Press Tour gathering.
