Jane the Virgin Chapter 38 recap: Moving Out

Well Jane the Virgin fans, I guess the Villanueva women will have another seven years of bad luck thanks to Pablo. As if the flood kicking them out of their house wasn’t enough, Pablo is still lurking around with his bad luck. Of course, Alba has a long explanation of why all those unfortunate events happened, because she’s in love again. The other two Villanueva women are not buying it. Oh, how the tables have turned! Poor Jane wanted to get married at the house in six weeks, but after the laugh from the contractor, that’s most likely not going […]

Recap: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 16: Josh’s Sister Is Getting Married!

Recap – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 16: “Josh’s Sister Is Getting Married!” – The CW, original airdate Mon. 3/28/16 (For all Crazy Ex recaps, click here. At the end of last week’s episode, the Dream Ghost of Dr. Akopian got Rebecca thinking about what — and who — is in her life besides Josh. The episode ended with a very confused Josh, holding a stack of Rebecca’s photos of him with her, asking if she’s in love with him. Cliffhanger! Honestly, I thought Rebecca would spin some sort of yarn, but that dream did a number on her, and she takes […]

Shameless Season 6, episode 11 recap – “Sleep No More”

Last week’s Shameless ended in a big shootout on the commune, between Jupiter and T-Dog’s cronies. I, of course, was interested to see how that ended up playing out, but in true Shameless style, not a peep. So I guess just as quickly as Queenie and that whole situation came along this season, it was gone just like that, as well — kind of like the whole Lesbian gentrification and Yanis situation in the beginning. With this episode being the last one before the finale, let’s see what other situations can arise that will also not really get any closure. […]

“Donald Trump” and “Bernie Sanders” will face off in an @midnight debate tonight

Comedy Central’s hit late-night series @midnight, which you can usually see trending on Twitter most weeknights, will be staging its own political debate tonight (March 23). The debate pits Donald Trump (played by Anthony Atamanuik) against Bernie Sanders (played by James Adomian). The two actors star in the comedy show Trump vs. Bernie: The Debate Tour 2016, which is currently on tour. The two “candidates” will field questions from the debate moderator, @midnight host Chris Hardwick. Being the interactive show that it is, it sounds like the episode will also field recorded questions from viewers who use the hashtag #MidnightDebate. It might be […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 37 recap: Pablo’s Curse

I know we took a weeklong break from Jane the Virgin but dang! Jane is only six weeks away from marrying Michael?! And it looks like she’s actually going through with the wedding this time. Jane has all her wedding plans set except for one thing: Rogelio’s RSVP to the wedding. She tries calling him again and Lola answers. Finally, Jane realizes that something must be wrong if he doesn’t respond to her after knowing she’s marrying his bromance partner. Lola has other plans for Rogelio which include a webcam and suicide. This can’t be good. Since the wedding is only […]

Shameless Season 6, episode 10 recap – “Paradise Lost”

Last week everything seemed to finally be coming up roses for most of the Gallagher clan, Shameless fans. Does that still hold true for this week? Given the episode title is “Paradise Lost,” this sounds a little doubtful — and we are talking Shameless here. Here’s the Shameless Season 6, episode 10 recap. Fiona & Sean: Things are full steam ahead with the wedding planning. Sean is moving into the Gallagher house and Fiona is all about having a traditional wedding. Flowers, church, reception hall — the whole nine yards. She also gets blessings from Will (Sean’s son, who oddly enough hated […]

Netflix releases first look images of Orange Is the New Black Season 4

This morning, Netflix released nine first-look images from Orange Is the New Black Season 4. According to the network, the new season “delves into the racial and economic tensions that run rampant in the halls of Litchfield. Overrun with new inmates and overseen by inexperienced guards, the prison undergoes an unprecedented culture war.” It sounds like it may be more intense than previous seasons, and you can see some of that intensity in a few of the images. What do you think? Orange Is the New Black Season 4 will premiere Friday, June 17, at 12:01am PT on Netflix.         […]

NBC previews new Patrick Warburton sitcom Crowded tonight

“Right now, I think 31 percent of millennials are living at home, and the most interesting fact about that, for me, is that 80 percent of them are fine with it. They are happy to be home,” said Crowded writer and executive producer Suzanne Martin at a recent press conference for the new NBC sitcom, which previews tonight before airing Sundays starting March 20. I’m not sure if these stats are accurate, but one thing that can’t be denied (at least from my unscientific perspective of knowing several millenials) is that people in their 20s and early 30s today don’t have […]
