Jane the Virgin Chapter 27 recap: Britney Spears and a Wedding

So after reading almost everyone’s comment on last week’s recap of Jane the Virgin, it’s pretty clear Team Rafael is winning the fan vote. I’m with all you Team Rafael fans but please, continue to watch the show. Jane hasn’t officially made her decision just yet and I have a feeling she’s not choosing Michael. The walls might say that Jane wants to be with Michael but I know she doesn’t really want to be with him. Rafael confides in his sister, crazy Luisa who got him in this mess, who tells him that he should pull the cancer card. […]

Recap: The Affair Season 2 episode 6 — The ending is the most important part

On this week’s episode of The Affair on Showtime, we hit the accelerator on our story a bit and see Helen’s and Noah’s perspective on consecutive timeframes. Our leap to the now comes sooner than we’re used to. And Alison’s sojourn home in last week’s outing takes on potential new significance, if the timing is correct. We start with Helen, who is watching Trevor working on a school project with Stacey’s help. She tells them to clean up their work and get ready to go to a ballgame with their dad, which thrills Margaret to no end. She begins Margareting in earnest. Can we talk hair […]

Bond is so stuffy. TNT’s Agent X is our guy.

There’s a lot to love about TV’s new Agent X. He’s smart, loyal, handsome, resilient and a little bit sloppy, but that’s his appeal. He’s not the stuffy Bond type. Much of that can be attributed to the charisma of the man playing Agent X, Jeff Hephner, whose Midwest charm and kick-butt wit definitely show through. TNT’s action/drama series debuts Sunday, Nov. 9 at 9pmET. “[The show] doesn’t take itself too seriously because, God knows, I don’t,” Hephner says. “I’m from Michigan and I’m playing this guy as if he’s from Michigan, and there’s a low-key-ness that I relate to […]

Recap: Wicked City – Episode 2 (Running With the Devil)

Recap: Wicked City Episode 2 “Running With the Devil” – ABC, original airdate Tue. 11/3/15 (For all Wicked City recaps, click here.) I’m starting to get into Wicked City — although I noticed that though tonight’s episode was called “Running With the Devil,” we never actually heard Van Halen’s “Runnin’ With the Devil.” Meh, that’s okay, I guess. Onto the recap! The episode picks up where the pilot left off, with Kent and Betty walking out of the Whisky with Mallory. They pile into a beautiful Mercedes convertible — a different car than I remember from the first episode — all three […]

His brother … well, let’s get to everything that happened on this week’s The Bastard Executioner. We begin at Casa Maddox where, after last episode’s attention from Wilkin, Jessamy is looking for reassurance that their coupling pleased him. He tenderly tells her it did. Recap: Blindspot Season 1, Episode 7 – Road Trip!

This episode was another tease. Sure, we finally got a peek at Saúl Guerrero (it’s Lou Diamond Phillips!) and the FBI team moved out beyond the big city. However, the episode ended with so many unanswered questions. Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) was about to get the goods on Daylight, there was no mention of Taylor Shaw or Zapata’s (Audrey Esparza) gambling issues, and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) can’t seem to keep a good man pinned down — why exactly? I guess it’s the mystery that keeps us coming back for more. So are you ready to decipher this week’s episode of Blindspot? […]
