“The Price Is Right” launches first nationwide male model search

Long-running game show The Price Is Right recently began its first-ever nationwide search for a male model on Aug. 16, in Spartanburg, S.C. CBS has announced upcoming open casting calls will also be held in Boston on Sept. 6; Dallas on Sept. 7; Philadelphia on Sept. 8; and Los Angeles on Sept. 30. According to a release, semi-finalists will be flown to L.A., where they will be interviewed and judged by a panel of experts on their sense of humor, red carpet skills and how to model a car. “Wheel of Fortune” to celebrate 6,000th episode

The long-running, classic game show Wheel of Fortune will mark its 6,000th episode during the week of April 28-May 2, with each episode honoring the milestone. During what the show is calling “Wheel 6000 Week,” players will find a Wheel $6K wedge on the wheel, replacing the $5K wedge during the final rounds of play.
