NBCUniversal networks to air a benefit telethon for Hurricane Sandy relief

Updated Nov. 2, 2012, 3:48pm CT In response to the widespread devastation caused by Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy, the networks of NBCUniversal — including NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA Network — will join forces to air a one-hour live benefit telethon called Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together this Friday, Nov. 2, from 8-9pm ET. Tom Brokaw hospitalized; reported doing well

Updated 9/6/12, 3:23pm CT This morning, newsman Tom Brokaw was taken to a hospital after feeling light-headed on the set of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. According to a statement from NBC News president Steve Capus, Brokaw appears to be doing fine following the incident: “On the set of Morning Joe this morning,” stated Capus, “Tom Brokaw felt light-headed. Out of an abundance of caution, he was taken to a hospital.
