5 Reasons I Would Die On Naked And Afraid

I have watched every episode of Naked and Afraid since it premiered, so when the series sent me a bow drill, my surroundings got all wavy and I imagined myself on the Discovery survival series. I quickly came to the conclusion that I would die. Or maybe not. Here’s why … My Blur Would Be Too Big. At first glance, this may not seem potentially fatal, but believe me, my bosoms might prove deadly. First of all, one of the camera people might have a heart attack when I unleash my bounty. Or someone may get so distracted by seeing me […]

The Story Of God’s Morgan Freeman: “The biggest question we ask is about resurrection”

The Story of God With Morgan Freeman premieres Sunday, April 3 at 9/8CT on National Geographic Channel. By his very nature — the soulful eyes and regal bearing, legendary voice and sonorous delivery — when Morgan Freeman tells you something, you believe it. You just do. Hence, the Oscar winner is frequently tapped to play noble sorts — doctors, lawmen, statesmen, even revolutionaries like Nelson Mandela and Malcolm X. Even God. And God is the reason Freeman is here today, seated beside his Revelations Entertainment partners Lori McCreary and James Younger in a Pasadena hotel suite. Not because he’s portraying God. […]

A&E’s 60 Days In recap: Welcome to the Thunder Dome!

Welcome to the first recap of A&E’s 60 Days In (Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT), a.k.a. So You Think You Can Survive Two Months In Prison. To be clear, I am not watching and recapping 60 Days In because I care about prison reform or the rights of the incarcerated. Nor am I pursuing a technical college evening degree program in Correctional Science or any of that. On the list of things that I worry about on a daily basis, prison conditions are 36,447th. No, I’m 100 percent in this thing for making wise-ass commentary (perhaps you are familiar with my work?) about reality show participants […]
