As the episode starts, her boyfriend, John Cena, is away, fulfilling his business commitments. She wants to stay with Brie while he is gone. However, her sister believes Nikki is too needy and clingy. John suffers a broken nose in a match and is sidelined at home. “Dirty Dancing” Casts Its Johnny

Lionsgate and ABC have found their Johnny to star in the upcoming three-hour filmed musical event, Dirty Dancing. At this time, no date for the spectacular has been announced. Singer/dancer/actor Colt Prattes (P!nk’s music video “Try”, Rock of Ages) will be showing Baby (Abigail Breslin) the time of her life as romantic lead Johnny, a charismatic, skilled dance instructor and leader of the working-class entertainment staff at a 1960’s Catskill Mountains resort. I am in a awe of this video, and the subsequent performance during the 2012 AMA’s, so I’m so pleased for this talented performer to get the attention he deserves. […]

Better Call Saul Season 2 episode 2 recap: It don’t mean squat

When I spoke to Michael McKean prior to the start of Better Call Saul Season 2, he promised me that, soon enough, people would have a better understanding of Chuck’s trepidations about baby brother Jimmy. On tonight’s episode, “Cobbler,” we begin to see why. And to see flickers of the Saul that Breaking Bad fans knew — know — and loved, despite ourselves. And feels pangs for all we now know he has to lose. Also, we get a new McGill-ism to add to the BCS vernacular. But more about that later. It’s worth the wait. Pie fans, consider yourself warned. We […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 34 recap: Jane the Virgin?

We had a week off from Jane the Virgin, but now it’s game time, ladies and gents. And Jane might be losing her v-card to Professor Magic Mike this episode! Being a virgin mother just doesn’t make sense to Jane anymore. Michael didn’t waste any time finding out who the first altered face was on that chip Rose had. He called the man in and told him that he would work with the police in order to get Rose to come down and buy the chip off of him. Too bad that Rose and Elena already know the cops are […]

Shameless Season 6, episode 7 recap – “Pimp’s Paradise”

Last week’s Shameless was a crazy wild ride, offering some closure to some circumstances but only the beginning of others. So looking forward to this week’s episode, I was disappointed — super snoozefest — and it took some weird turns. I have noticed this show is a rollercoaster. Build up a storyline … drag it out … then poof! Over! Move on to a new one. There are, of course, some key points in this episode that launch the next arch in the Gallaghers’ twisted lives. Which is — of course — what always keeps me loving this show. So with my editorial opinion out […]

EC3 on being one of TNA Impact Wrestling’s biggest success stories

Ethan Carter III — EC3 — for short has ventured into uncharted waters lately on TNA Impact Wrestling. The former world champion has made the transition from despised villain to fan favorite in a matter of weeks. Despite the different response from the audience, the root of the EC3 character hasn’t changed much. The progression has been organic with the performer earning the audience’s respect in his recent battles with current TNA champ Matt Hardy. The two will battle for the title in a “six sides of steel” match, headlining a stacked card of caged action during the Lockdown edition […]
