On Thursday, Jan. 14, The 88th Academy Award Nominations were announced by directors Guillermo Del Torro and Ang Lee, actor John Krasinski and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs. The Renevant leads the Oscar race, with 12 nominations. Chris Rock will host the 88th Academy Awards. The Actor/Comedian/Filmmaker is returning to host the 2016 Oscars for the second time live Sunday, February 28th 2016 on ABC. I talked with Patrick Warburton today at the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter press tour about his new NBC sitcom Crowded (more on that in a later post), and had a chance to also talk about his other memorable comedic work, from David Puddy on Seinfeld to Joe Swanson on Family Guy to Brock Samson on The Venture Bros.
