Rizzoli & Isles acknowledged the death of their colleague, Lee Thompson Young, on a credit roll in August of 2013, but it was in tonight’s episode, “Goodbye,” where they sadly addressed the death of the character he played — Detective Barry Frost and said goodbye to Lee Thompson Young. Lee, 29, was found dead in his North Hollywood home last August of an apparent suicide. Much of this episode captured real emotion on the part of the cast.
