CBS renews Madam, Scorpion, NCIS: NO, and talks Late Night

Chairman of CBS Entertainment Nina Tassler took the stage at the Television Critics Association’s (TCA) winter press tour as the reigning queen — her CBS network remains the top dog of all broadcasters with seven of the net’s series in the coveted Top 10 list. The first CBS Sports Classic college basketball event takes place Saturday, Dec. 20, at the United Center in Chicago. The event features some of college hoops’ most competitive and storied teams. Things tip off at 1pm ET on CBS as the No. 24 North Carolina Tar Heels take on the No. 12 Ohio State Buckeyes. CBS and Worldwide Pants Incorporated, David Letterman’s production company, announced today that Letterman will host his final broadcast of Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of the CBS Corporation, said in a release, “David Letterman has given to all of us a remarkable legacy of achievement and creative brilliance that will never be forgotten.
