Why should personal rooms be the sole domain of men? HGTV broadens the scope the “Man Cave” concept in a special called Mom Caves. Beth Stern (wife of shock jock Howard Stern) co-hosts along with designer Matt Muenster, and they will work together to give a young New Jersey mother of three, who is also a full-time teacher, the sanctuary of her dreams. Not only will the winner of the 2012 HGTV Dream Home Giveaway be awarded a new, 4,000-square-foot fully furnished modern home with amazing mountain views, but he or she will be skiing distance away from one of the most famous film festivals in the world. On Friday the network announced an area near Park City, Utah — home of the Sundance Film Festival — as the location of its 16th annual Dream Home.
