National Geographic Channel’s new series I Am Rebel has a new episode, “Phreaks and Geeks,” which premieres Sunday, June 26 at 9/8CT. The series focuses on individuals that break the rules in order to create a name for themselves. This episode is no exception. Kevin Mitnick takes on the world of phone and computer hacking, beginning in the 1980s when the technology was relatively new. Nat Geo’s first scripted series is Genius

Today, National Geographic Channel announced plans for Genius, the network’s first ever scripted series. The ambitious anthology series is a partnership between the network, Fox 21 Television Studios (Homeland, The People v. O.J. Simpson), Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Television (24, Empire), OddLot Entertainment (Rosewater; The Way, Way Back) and EUE/Sokolow.
