“Impractical Jokers” debuts “enhanced” episodes Oct. 17 and 24

TruTV is betting on the idea that the only thing better than new episodes of Impractical Jokers is “enhanced” episodes of Impractical Jokers, as the channel will air special marathons of hand-picked episodes the nights of Oct. 17 and 24. This all leads to a new episode of the hidden-camera prank show featuring hit rockers Imagine Dragons on Oct. 24 at 10pm ET/PT. Here are the descriptions supplied by the network: Impractical Jokers: DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS – Thursday, Oct. 17, 9-11 p.m. (ET/PT) – TV-14-DLS The guys from Impractical Jokers highlight secrets from their past in these enhanced episodes. Hardcore Pawn marathon goes “Behind the Deal” on truTV

If you’re like me, you’ll find yourself on occasion — and against your better judgment perhaps — passing by truTV during a good channel surf and getting sucked into a few episodes of a Hardcore Pawn marathon. Whether it’s Les Gold looking incredulously at some doofus who has brought in a toaster and is asking for $100, or if it’s Seth and Ashley putting their vicious sibling rivalry on full display, the action at Detroit’s American Jewelry and Loan is among the most entertaining in reality TV. Is it “real”? No, it’s reality. Or, as truTV would put it, “Actuality.” Tonight […]

7 Questions With Brian “Q” Quinn of truTV’s “Impractical Jokers”

You get the sense that wherever you might encounter them, talking to one of the four guys who make up truTV’s Impractical Jokers would be a fun time.  And it’s true, the quartet of Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Sal Vulcano and Brian “Q” Quinn are just as down-to-earth and good-natured as they appear on their prank show, which returns with new episodes tonight at 10pm. But getting to talk to “Q” at Comic-Con in San Diego added a unique flavor. Sitting in a downtown breakfast spot made over to be the epicenter of an Impractical Jokers media blitz, the […]

“7 Questions” with Joe Gatto of truTV’s “Impractical Jokers”

It wasn’t that long ago that Joe Gatto was buying baby products for a living. In his spare time he would perform in The Tenderloins, an improv comedy troupe with his longtime Staten Island pals Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray and Sal Vulcano. They all had day jobs, in fact, while trying to pursue their dream of comedy stardom. After a few stops and starts involving failed pilots for Spike TV and A&E, the quartet found a home with truTV in 2011 when Impractical Jokers premiered. But the day jobs are long gone now as Impractical Jokers gets ready […]
