Graceland wins 2013 Viewers Voice Award for the “Best New Series,” in Channel Guide’s annual reader poll. It was a crowded field for new series but USA Network’s Graceland (from White Collar’s Jeff Eastin) was the standout. The series was the No. 1 new scripted series of the summer and was renewed for a sophomore season. Rizzoli & Isles wins Best Cop Show in Channel Guide’s 2013 Viewers Voice Awards. Can’t say we were surprised by this one, even with such a strong field. The lady-buddy drama starring Angie Harmon as tough-cookie cop Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as family-tormented medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles is TNT’s top-rated show of all time and the No. 2 scripted series in the history of ad-supported cable television, bested only by our Best Drama winner The Walking Dead.
