Baby Phat mogul Kimora Lee Simmons is getting her own show on Style Network. Scheduled to premiere this summer, the series will “peek inside the hip-hop halls” of her fashion empire, take us inside her personal life with her daughters (ex-husband Russell Simmons got no mention in Style’s press release), and promises “to open a lot of women’s eyes to the possibilities life has to offer.” No doubt, we’ll get a crash course in the former talk show host and model’s “fabulosity.”
On MTV, what happens in Vegas … happens in Vegas again. The network has announced that, in addition to the upcoming Sydney, Australia, season of The Real World, plans are in the works for a reunion season featuring the show’s Las Vegas cast. I’d be interested in seeing what’s up with Arissa, Irulan and even Alton, but haven’t we seen enough of Trishelle?
Bravo announced today that they will expand their already booming lineup of series to include a third night of original programming. Joining Top Chef (which premieres its third season this summer), Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List (new season June 5) and the rest of the reality gang are Paula Abdul in Hey Paula; Flipping Out with real estate wizard Jeff Lewis; Welcome to the Parker, a behind-the-scenes look at life inside the Parker Palm Springs hotel; Millionaire Matchmaker, which follows Patti Stanger’s attempts to make love connections between the rich and famous; and First Class All the Way, featuring the exploits of luxury travel concierge Sara Duffy.
