  • 9. The Busch Series NAPA Auto Parts 200, NASCAR’s first-ever national series race in Canada, has a thrilling finish with Kevin Harvick edging Patrick Carpentier by 0.338 seconds.
  • 8. Jimmie Johnson outduels Matt Kenseth in the closing laps of the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway for his ninth victory of the season.
  • 7. Clint Bowyer wins his first career Cup Series race after entering the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup as the 12th seed.
  • 6. Juan Pablo Montoya becomes the first Hispanic driver to win a race in NASCAR’s top two series, winning the Busch Series race at Mexico City and the NEXTEL Cup race at Infineon Raceway.
