Theresa Caputo, the star of TLC’s series Long Island Medium, says she was 28 when she was first introduced to the possibility that she was a medium. It took another five years for her to actually accept her gift.
“There’s a big difference from when I accepted it to who am I?” Caputo told us. She said she struggled with feeling, “I’m no different than anybody else. Why was I chosen to do this? Why is this my journey?”
The aftermath of 9/11 left her with clarity and a feeling of purpose for what she calls her role in the physical world. Now Caputo spends her days and nights taking her clients on an emotional and spiritual journey with the afterlife. She helps people find closure and/or reconnect some with loved ones who have passed.

Surprisingly, Caputo has built her career on word of mouth only and has done little to no marketing. When asked if she’s ready for what a TV series will bring as far as popularity, Caputo says: “Absolutely not. I still think this is like a school project. It’s so not reality yet for me. My life is overwhelming as it is, as of right now, my waiting list to get an appointment is… I don’t have any availability until January 2013.”

My Father passed very quickly due to a heart attack. I miss him and would really like to contact him. I feel his life was cut to short and my heart still aches. Please please please contact me for a meeting if it all possible. I know every one is pulling at you and you are completely booked out. I don’t mind waiting as long as it takes. Thank you.
My husband passed away on 3/30/2003 after many years of suffering from schaladerma. He entered into hospice on Friday afternoon – I had to drive 4 hours to get some info for a job that would bring us back home – and he passed away in the early hours of Sunday. I wasn’t there to say good bye but I did tell him before I left Saturday morning not to wait for me. If it was time for him to go, then go. He seemed to understand. I would love to know that he’s ok and with all of his family and my Mom and Dad.
Theresa is such a beuatiful person she has help me so much by watching her shows i live my life around her shows my wish is for me and my mother inlaw to meet her one day God bless her always.

my grandfather passed away 5 years ago without my knowledge i need to know if something other than natural death played apart in it. his death was quickly followed by a private cremation from my father who has other sibling who along with me think he did this to hide something so we couldn’t go and exume his body to see how he really died. please theresa help me solve what happened to my grandfather he was always good to me and it still hurts me not knowing what really happened to him in his final days.

hi my name is jacqueline, i am from stroudsburg, pa.i am 28 years old…i had both a daughter that had passed away in 2001 from being strangeled in her car seat belt while residing with her foster mother and a father that had passed in 2005 due to a massive heart attack.in the past two years i have had really bad panic attacks and overwhelming generalized anxiety everyday…to the point i just want to end it…i really am still messed up due to the fact my father is gone and also my daughter…i would like to know how they are doing if possible and if they can help me be more at peace with myself…i have alot of guilt with my father and i just need to know that he forgives me and that they both know i miss them dearly…and u have my email.thank u

My mother died about two and a half weeks ago. my grandson passed, Easter Sunday, his birthday,2012. My daughter, his Mother, lives in another country. A week after Mothers Day, she found out that she was pregnant, and expecting in the fall. This pregnacy comes quite late in her life and we were all very surprised. Anyone that I tell of this, I also tell them that they are now included in our “Miracle Circle. She talks to him all the time, and misses him dearly, we all still find it very hard to believe. Will we ever find out the circumstance behind his death? how can anyone “feel” the dead? i would like to challenge anyone who can “feel the dead”. Because first of all theirs no god. As it does make sense before we are born, we remember NOTHING, and after we die, why would that make a difference?
Based on the catholic church’s beliefs, its considered a human life even the embryo. Yes its a cell that grows into another human life BUT how does that know “whats going” before ITS BORN?
