Theresa Caputo, the star of TLC’s series Long Island Medium, says she was 28 when she was first introduced to the possibility that she was a medium. It took another five years for her to actually accept her gift.
“There’s a big difference from when I accepted it to who am I?” Caputo told us. She said she struggled with feeling, “I’m no different than anybody else. Why was I chosen to do this? Why is this my journey?”
The aftermath of 9/11 left her with clarity and a feeling of purpose for what she calls her role in the physical world. Now Caputo spends her days and nights taking her clients on an emotional and spiritual journey with the afterlife. She helps people find closure and/or reconnect some with loved ones who have passed.

Surprisingly, Caputo has built her career on word of mouth only and has done little to no marketing. When asked if she’s ready for what a TV series will bring as far as popularity, Caputo says: “Absolutely not. I still think this is like a school project. It’s so not reality yet for me. My life is overwhelming as it is, as of right now, my waiting list to get an appointment is… I don’t have any availability until January 2013.”

Hello, I’m writing to try and get closure with my cousin that was killed a year and 2 months ago. The murderer only received 13 months in jail. Since it happened my cousin has came to me in my dream but he would just look at me in silence. I need to know what is it he is trying to tell me. And what does it mean. I Need closure.
I am a 52 yr old grandmother raising my now 4yr old granddaughter. Her daddy was 32(2012) when he died suddenly with her in his arms(she was 8 months). Possible stroke. Her mommy(my child) was also 32 when she was murdered in 2014. My mother died 10 months after my child. I believe she grieved herself 2 death. I need closure. Both of my parents died when I was 4 y/o. I do not have any memories of either on of them and have always been curious what they would think of me today and what they might like to say to me. I also would like you to communicate with My Grandmother and Uncle who raised me and have since passed in 1984 (gram) and 2012 (uncle). They are so dear to my heart and I have always been so grateful for their love and care. I guess I would like to just make sure they know that. I absolutely have always believed in a spiritual existence better than and beyond this one and have great hopes of reuniting with my dear ones. To be honest it is the chief reason I try to behave myself while I am here, so I can end up in that place of peace where they so surely are.

Help me understand this nightmare of a death!
My mother in law passed away in 2010. I miss her everyday still till this day I don’t believe she’s gone. She was my best friend and a mom to me. A very special person in my life. The past 9yrs of my life has been troublesome for me. She was my stregenth and I could really use some of her advise. More then that I love a hug and an I love you from her. I struggle with believing that this is real. I want to believe and have seen it done. I’ve heard the opinions of others on how is done etc. My question that I’d really like answered is, is this really of God? I’m not being rude or trying to be judgemental in any way. I just know what the scriptures say. I believe absent from the body present with Lord. I believe what it says about entertaining spirits.
The only answer I have been able to come up with is, is that the prince of this world is able to perform signs and wonders. when is TLC gonna quit helping Theresa Caputo scam people? There are no such thing as psychics. Penn & Teller have read my mind the same exact way Theresa does it. The only difference is they will never claim to be psychics. Penn & Teller have proven psychics are fake on their show Bulls***.
