Abby Lee Miller on Dancing With The Stars Tonight

abby lee millerTonight on Dancing With The Stars, Dance Mom’s Abby Lee Miller thunders into the ballroom as this week’s guest judge. The blogosphere has been buzzing since Abby Lee’s involvement was announced. Who will she make cry? Abby is heavily promoting her new show Abby’s Studio Rescue (which judging on concept alone is terrible) so she may play nice. As a public figure, she is so nasty that while she may be capable of smiling and being friendly, she is a woman who isn’t above making children cry for seemingly no other reason than for her own enjoyment.  I wouldn’t put it past Abby Lee to be harsh to this season’s crop of exceedingly nice contestants and I really wish Nene’s sass was still on he show to keep Ms. Miller’s attitude in check. If Abby Lee goes after Meryl, I fully expect Maksim to attack Abby’s jugular. Tom Bergeron should be at his snarky best tonight too; look for a few zingers at Abby’s expense.

I’m sure we’ll see a few Dance Mom cuties in the audience, Hopefully they will enjoy the show despite the kowtowing of the head heifer. It would be awesome if ABC upped the dance drama if they brought Kelly, Brooke and Paige Hyland to the taping, in light of the legal drama that Lori Acken has highlighted over on her Dance Mom’s recap.

I wonder how Danica’s rib is healing and how Amy has fared after a week of back spasms? Will both women be able to put the pain aside to compete?

For tonight’s performances, DWTS is, per usual, trying something new. After the couples perform with their pros, they will participate in “Celebrity Dance Duels.” According to ABC, in the duels round, two couples will be paired up to perform a style of dance that they’ve both previously performed. All four members of the team will dance together to the same song, but mid-performance, the pros will leave the floor, leaving the two celebrities to dance together. The parings should be interesting, since there are only 2 male and 4 female celebrities left. I hope that Charlie and James dance together, but the logical parings would be Charlie and Meryl, Danica and Candace, and James and Amy. We will see tonight what actually happens.

Also tonight, Mark Ballas will perform his new single, “Get My Name.” Who knew that Mark was so talented?
