On Saturday, July 12, the network will blast off with the launch of their new original animated series, Astroblast! The show takes preschoolers and their parents on hilarious adventures through outer space, following a cast of animal characters including Comet, Halley, Sputnik, Radar, Jet and Sal the Octopus. The team runs the Astroblast! Space Station, the coolest hangout in the galaxy. Through the crew’s friendship, the series imparts important messages about how to embrace differences, model positive relationships and foster healthy habits to be the best good-will ambassadors in the universe.
Astroblast! will air on July 12 at 1pm ET during the extended Sunny Side Up Show and again at 8pm during the Good Night Show. Astroblast! will air on Sprout seven days a week. Here’s a quick preview of the show’s theme song.
