Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

vice stinks – what a load of garbage! Seriously considering getting rid of our dish, They keep replacing decent things to watch with crap like this.
Bring back H2 and get rid of that garbage you put in it’s place. If I wanted to watch that crap I would watch all the other channels.

By Friday morning, I’ll be calling my cable network and canceling cable. What was so great about H2 were the random days they put on great documentaries focusing on World War II, etc. History Channel rarely does that. All I ever recall is “Pawn Stars” and “American Pickers” marathons. I am sick of that.
This is the lowest blow from TV executives. They probably don’t watch their own channel. Vice sucks. There are no quality shows. Just shows how much control they have over our lives. History is no better then Vice. What type of audience does Vice appeal too. There are many other stations with music and the other shows on Vice that are on different stations. Bring H2 back.

The new programing just doesn’t appeal at all. Not that everything on H2 was extremely valid or relevant, but the new reality programing is just simplistic, uninteresting and boring. Just lost a channel that was at times interesting. Won’t be checking this channel in the future, if I want to see anything of entertainment. And they say they are in negotiations with Kayne, nought said. Vice is just Utter drivel, the dummying down of programming in America. Please bring H2 back not this….

What a dumb decision to get rid of H2! That was the only channel my husband and I actually watched together. Are you deliberately trying to get rid of responsible paying customers, because I don’t think we are the ones who will be watching awful garbage like Vice Land. Also, the History channel is terrible.

I actually upgraded my dish package for History International. I liked H2 less but watched it often. I will never watch Viceland and since “History” Channel has mostly reality TV I guess they have lost a viewer
I liked H2 and I am pissed. I do like the Vice documentaries, they are actually quite good, but they could have just stayed on HBO. This super liberal hipster shit will bust when the whole weak hipster trend dies. But then, what will become of what used to be H2? More reality trash TV?

If by some freak chance that Trump becomes our next President, programming like Viceland offers will reach new heights along with pornography and other “like” programming as Donald will see it as a way to make profits by feeding on the deplorable temptations (vices) of the human kind. VICE does not look promising. although H2 consisted of eternal reruns of ANCIENT ALIENS for 12 hours straight at a time, and other pseudo scientific shows, some of it was good. i could care less about gay shows, religious shows or drug shows…..and I’m gay and cautiously use weed
H2 was my fav go to channel there was always something on worth watching and actually educational, only show that is educational on vice is weediquette (far as the medicinal breakthroughs). I dont like the change I dont understand why take away the educational programming things about our history that they wont teach in school the science and history channels are showing more and more pop culture reality nonsense like pawn stars, swamp people, American pickers, ect. which I enjoy but i like to learn ancient history American secrets as well which I rarely see on the other stations. Educating the intelligent public of what may be scientifically possible, or feeding ignorance with social vomit like “Gaycation”, Weednation”, & “Noisey”. Only 6 Corporations control ALL the media in the U.S. and you think that this was just a random move?
