Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

Bring H2 BACK Vice is not for family viewing, it promotes values that are illegal in some states and promotes values that are not wholesome. Bring H2 back with the programming it used to have. What is wrong with Dish to allow such programming to be aired?!!!
Viceland is going to be a great channel. Anyone who’s seen Vice on HBO will agree. But to get rid of H2 is a mistake. And you wonder why people are cutting the cord. Everyday cable gets more expensive and reality “crap” tv gets more play.
WTF happened to H2? I saw the advertisements for Viceland, but didn’t realize that they were planning on getting rid of H2 completely. I thought Viceland was supposed to be a brand new channel. I paid extra for my Dish service to get H2. Now I can just dump Dish entirely because I’m paying money for something I no longer have access to and I don’t give a shit about Viceland. H2 had great programs like Ancient Aliens, Hanger 1 UFO Files, the 2 hour documentaries about Caligua, Boudica Warrior Queen, Dark Ages, The Plague, The Mayflower, even The Universe series. Now it’s been reduced to crap about smoking weed, an entire show dedicated to gays talking about how hard life is for them, a show where a woman listens to people scream at the top of their lungs, and a show about a bunch of rappers talking about how hard life is. WTH! None of the shows from H2 have shown up on the History Channel. Instead the History Channel insists on showing reality TV shows instead of actual history documentaries, which is what I want. What a total waste. I hope the stupid F-tards who came up with this “great idea” are fired. BRING BACK H2!!!!!

Vice? Like I want to watch crappy programs. That is what The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, etc… are for. I don’t watch them and I won’t go near this new channel. H2 was my goto channel in the evening. Now I have no goto channel and I haven’t seen History’s programming change to add the shows H2 used to show. Just another mistake by the idiots that manage things.
The first time I turned “H2” after the switch it was some lady listening to incoherent voice mails. The next couple of time, which was out of habit, was just more crap. Have not been back to it since. Pity H2 was my fave Chanel!!!
Yes I agree Vice is just pure crap! H2 was one of my favorite channels and I actually paid dish network more by going to a higher priced channels option just to get it. Now I’ll downgrade my cable options, Vice is absolutely disgusting.

I totally agree with Shannon, Vice channel is total garbage! I loved H2, it was my favorite channel as well, and I learned a lot about history over the years. There is no point in wasting my time watching garbage like this. The History channel now has added more dumb shows that I will not watch either. Talk about dumbing down television, this is beyond comprehension.

H2 has finally plunged into the trash heap. This was the last intelligent programming outside of PBS. What on earth do Pawn Stars, Counting Cars, Duck Dynasty, Swamp People, Garage Gold, etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum have to do with history??? And now we can treat ourselves to “Balls Deep”, “F*ck That’s Delicious”, and all the rest that appeal to the lowest forms of humanity. Who invented this unbelievably stupid programming??
